- Really bad golf course, the staff is rude its not up to date and the course itself is not good. It is definitely not a course worth 35 dollars to play at.This is great course for a fun social game. Not a bit of pressure. I have taken both my father and Father in law here for their first rounds of golf ever and both came away wanting to play golf again. I do wish they had better rental clubs as I am usually traveling through when I stop and play. I play here a few times a year and cant wait to get back.Have golfed this course years ago, and we were so disappointed in the way it has changed. We payed $22.00 a person, but they should of paid us $22.00 to golf it. Was horrible and will Never Go Back. ☹️Love to golf here. The shady setting with beautiful views makes it wonderful. We celebrated a birthday with 28 people. Laurie kept things organised with a fun shotgun start and a sit down dinner that was delicious and plentiful.I were looking forward to staying at the lodge ever since seeing it online. What a disappointment.
Although the facilities are old, they have left it drab and unclean feeling. The room felt like you were in a basement. (Not to mention the old smell) The pool was drained due to a problem, and when asked when it would be available the manager could have cared less and told us "she didn't care if we went somewhere else", "that we were welcomed to leave". And she seemed put-out that we were even there.
The golf course was darling except for its disrepair. Very, very wet and muddy in some spots. They were in the process of some changes.
Beaver lodge is a diamond in the rough. This could truely be an amazing place. If only they cared.
