Grass Clippings at Rolling Hills is nestled within scenic Papago Park, a location that provides a desert terrain and stunning views. It's one of the Phoenix metro-area's most popular executive courses. The par-62 layout is gentle enough for beginners but more advanced players will still find it to be an enjoyable round. The golf course first opened in 1960 with only nine holes. Gary Panks added the second nine in 1987, which is also when the clubhouse was built. The golf course is wide open, allowing the panoramic vistas to stretch for miles. There are a significant amount of elevation changes throughout the course, so be prepared for some tricky lies. It won't be what you're looking for if you want a formidable test, but if you want a casual round where you can work on your short game, then Grass Clippings at Rolling Hills is for you.
