Coldwater Golf Club

Located just west of Phoenix, Coldwater Golf Club in Avondale stretches across a unique landscape of rolling hills and deep swales. It is adjacent to a residential community that sits along the Aqua Fria River. The course is framed by mountain views and the diverse topography provides cascading fairways bordered by mounding and slopes that were carefully crafted to have a subtle bowl effect. The large, undulating greens are often either double or triple-tiered and surrounded by strategically placed sand bunkers and mounding. Water isn't terribly prominent but it does come into play on one of the most memorable holes, the scenic par-3 eighth. Coldwater Golf Club is a fair test for all skill levels, but forgiving enough for high handicappers. More advanced players will enjoy the risk-reward opportunities presented by each hole.
