This is a very good course, well maintained but that is where the goodness ends. If you enjoy 5 plus hour rounds of golf, this is the place to play. Golf operations are a disaster. It is obvious the new owners and management have no idea of how to run a golf course. This is too bad because this could be a great facility, The course is there, an OK driving range. good putting green and an excellent practice pitching area. BUT the golf balls are always dirty. I don't think they have a ball washer. The marshal is so busy trying to be your friend he forgets to move play along at a reasonable pace...4 hours for 18 holes...I have never been able to play a round in under 5 hours since May of this year. There is much work to do at this course. None of the problems are insurmountable but I fear the current management is not capable of fixing the issues and that is too bad because a course like this does not deserve these types of issues.

Everything you are looking for in a great golf course. The 3rd hole is a par 3 that will challenge even the lowest of handicaps. Gary Panks used great imagination while using the natural terrain of rolling pinion hills to carve out this masterpiece. Very friendly staff, and you can even wear denim pants. A touch of the old west, I reckon!
