Huukan Golf Club, formerly known as Desert Lakes, may have a new name but it's still the same course that is a local favorite known for its scenery and walkability. The course has a unique location that is sheltered from the relentless desert winds, which are a major factor on most courses in this region. The tree-lined fairways also help to shield the course on blustery days. The layout has several tests in store for you including strategically placed bunkers that border the challenging greens and water hazards in the form of sparkling lakes. The mature trees can be avoided if you can manage to keep it in the fairways. The final holes offer some opportunities for recovering your score with a chance for a birdie on the par-4 16th and a manageable par-5 finishing hole.
