Played the course this past Saturday and had a great time! For the middle of August the course was in great shape and we breezed around the course in a little over three hours. Great views and great course for the money. Anyone who isn't happy with this course must be playing Augusta!

Boy! A hyper-critical review or two!
I would consider the conditions to be very good!
Great turf in rolling fairways. Scenic views. Roadrunners and rabbits. Greens have decent speed...maybe a little tough to read. Mostly plush areas around greens allow for do-able up-and-downs.

Sand traps: actually penal like they're supposed to be!
(AZ: soft sand blows out leaving gravelly, crusty stuff).
    Sure...after a deluge there's a few mucky areas....a couple temporary lakes!

A few looong holes...otherwise, medium to short. (you'll work your whole bag) Greens are large so sometimes you're playing 3 more clubs than you did last time you played it! (2 finishing holes always eat my lunch / should shorten to 125 yard par 5's / otherwise, I'm good)

GPS in carts takes guesswork out....speeds play.
Small chest packed with ice on each cart.
    Staff is delightful....most accommodating!
I'm a local so fees range from $25-40.

Could be a very nice course with a little TLC. Nice layout, clubhouse and staff. But the fairways and greens needed work, and a lot of the course needs to be finished, but work has stopped.
